Winemakers Note:
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark, dense, plum-red colour.
Black fruit, herbs and vanilla characterise the nose. A balanced acidity with prominent extracted tannins on the palate indicates a well-made wine that is chewy while indicate great longevity.

Coastal Region, South Africa.
Vinification:
The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Franschhoek (50%) and grapes from Stellenbosch (50%) Regions. The vines produce fully ripe grapes with great fruit expression. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted at the winery to exclude green and rotten berries.
Fermentation on the skins and regular pump-overs produce excellent colour extraction with elegant tannins. The resulting wine is wood matured for 21 months 2nd fill French oak barrels.
